Colombia - Boyacá

On the way to Bogotá we stopped in two beautiful colonial towns in Boyacá, Colombia's heartland - beautiful, fertile farming country.
In Tunja we found a suitable barber to chop Declan's locks and before carrying onto Villa de Leyva. Unfortunately, we developed a problem with the turbo just outside Villa de Leyva so limped into town. After several days exploring the town and arranging a fix for the van, we booked a gruá and headed for Bogotá, but not before we'd managed to visit El Fosil, a 120 million year old baby kronosaurus fossil. It stands at 7m long without its tail and is preserved and displayed where it was found.
