The Outer Banks and North Carolina

Following the election in November we headed east and south in search of some sunshine and some wind for kiting.

Cape Hatteras is renowned for its kiting and did not let us down. We had a few days in Kill Devil Hills, before heading south towards Rodanthe and a beautiful camping site on the sound side of the Island, giving us beautiful sunsets and opportunities for kayaking. Cape Hatteras and Ocracoke were equally beautiful as we travelled on the ferry system south.

We arrived in Morehead City, needing some work done to the bag that sits on top of the van and while there Declan managed to get some more kiting in. Whilst it was cold, there was plenty of sunshine and blue skies.
