Maryland, DC and Virginia - strong Democratic States!

From Pennsylvania we headed down to Baltimore to catch up with friends and sit out the election.
It was a great trip down memory lane, visiting some old haunts in Baltimore and catching up with friends and former colleagues. We walked the Mall in DC to see some of its newer monuments and were fortunate enough to catch our first NBA Basketball game - The Washington Wizards vs. Atlanta Hawkes. After a weekend in the country at Deep Creek, with visits to Harpers Ferry and Swallow Falls, we took a trip across the Potomac to Alexandria in Virginia and to Arlington National Cemetery to see the Iwo Jima memorial which we had missed back in 2002.
