From the National Parks we headed to Cochrane to visit friends and get some work done on the van. Great views back to the Rockies and east towards Calgary. We managed a quick drop down to Wharterton Lakes National Park, where we managed to catch the harvest moon, across the fields. We then started the long drive across the prairies through Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. We were lucky with the weather and the timing, able to watch the industrial might of harvest time, with a stop in Regina and a day visiting Winnipeg along the way.
