Nevada

Our trip into Nevada was short and sweet. We arrived via the Lake Mead National Monument, with the air conditioning having failed in Zion. Best place to stay - Fire Valley State Park. Very hot, but we managed to get some shade from the morning sun, then headed off to Boulder City, a town built specifically to house the workers on the Hoover Dam. There' a great museum in the town, well worth a visit and lots of street art. Then onto Hoover Dam itself before heading for a night in Vegas.
