Hired a car and moved off the boat. We headed towards the south of the island, to find accommodation and hopefully some kitesurf spots. Rented a 2 bed apartment in the hills for 7 days. Great views toward the coast and into the mountains. Plenty of rain in Gran Canaria, especially up in the hills. Maybe not our best decision on accommodation - WiFi was sketchy, tv in German and a little too much precipitation. That said, we did quite a bit of exploring in-land and around the coast.
