From Cuba, we flew to Grand Cayman, where we stopped with friends.  Had a great time: good wind for kiting, lots of swimming, some paddle-boarding, the odd sunset and some snorkelling.  Came across two turtles while out snorkelling at Spotts Beach.  Loved the wild chi...

The entrance to Santiago de Cuba is amazing, overlooked by a beautiful castle - El Morro.  This was probably our favourite place in Cuba and was meant to be our last stop before heading back to Tortola.  it was, however, where we left the boat.

We left Cienfuegos on 24th February and arrived into Cayo Breton the following day.  Lots of fisherman around and managed to secure a fish for 5 CUC and five lobster for a further 15 CUC, before heading off to Cayo Cinco Bales.  Strong winds and current kept us at anch...

Our point of entry into Cuba, Cayo Largo, is a beautiful Island off the south coast of Cuba.  White sandy beaches that stretch on and on.  Only tourists are allowed here though, Cubans work here for 20 days, then return home for 10 days of leave before coming back.  Gr...

We left Tortola on 22 January for Dominican Republic, passing the USVIs and Puerto Rico to our north.  It was a gentle sail and nothing untoward to report until about midnight on 23rd, when the US Coastguard advised of a may day signal having been issued by a vessel in...

We arrived back in the Carribean on Thursday 7th January.  We were pretty busy, arrived late Antigua, went to collect the kite-surfing gear and then an early (5.30am) flight out of Antigua to join Panos on Cookelu meu in Fort de France, Martinique.  The Liat route took...
